Woman removes Rolex watch from retiree’s arm in Stourbridge robbery

An 80-year-old retiree had a Rolex watch ripped off his arm during a daylight robbery in Stourbridge.

The victim was approached by a woman and asked for the time on Market Street around 11 a.m. on November 3.

While trying to check the time, a woman grabbed his arm and the watch was taken, police said.

The suspected thief, described as white with brown hair and eyes, then fled towards Worcester Street.

Images of the suspect, who is believed to have an Italian accent, have been released by West Midlands Police.

A force spokesperson said: “We would like to speak to find this woman after a Rolex watch was stolen from a man on Market Street in Stourbridge.

“The victim, aged around 80, was approached and asked for the time around 11 a.m. on November 3.

“As he watched, his arm was grabbed and the watch was taken. The thief then fled towards Worcester Street.

“The suspect was white, with brown hair, brown eyes and spoke with what is believed to be an Italian accent.”
