A tiny replica of the short-wheelbase variant of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz in a rainbow livery made its debut at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in the UK. The pint-sized or tiny Buzz features a circular hole in its roof, where it holds a soccer ball. The little van drives around the football field to deliver balls when needed and is very useful during world tournaments.

The small soccer ball delivery van is the cousin of the Volkswagen ID.4 small car, which also delivers soccer balls at tournaments. This latest model has been around for quite some time and has delivered balls across the world. Both of these vehicles also have a dedicated and verified Twitter page, which reads: “Volkswagen Tiny Football Car and Tiny Buzz Official Account”. Delivering balloons to #WEURO2022 & #EURO2020.’

A video shared on the official Tiny Football Cars Twitter account shows the pint-sized, rainbow-colored ID. where the ball is placed.

On her super debut, a tweet on behalf of the Tiny Buzz was posted on her Twitter handle saying that she is very happy to be part of the Women’s Euro tournament. “I was quite nervous before kick-off, but once I zoomed in on that pitch, I felt nothing but the BUZZ. Long live the tournament!” he added .

Volkswagen does not plan to launch the long-wheelbase Volkswagen ID. Buzz in the US until 2024, but that hasn’t stopped it from unveiling a new short-wheelbase variant of the model. The full-size model of the ID.Buzz will initially launch in Europe with an 82 kWh battery. It will eventually get more battery versions with different output power levels in 2023.
