The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is one of the most interesting cars ever built by the German luxury car brand. It is also one of the most important and beautiful cars from Mercedes-Benz. While the car is no longer in production, a wooden model of the 300 SL recently caught our eye.

YouTube’s Woodworking Art wants to capture the beauty of the Mercedes coupe through a carved wooden replica. The chain, which has made a number of carved wooden masterpieces and cool vehicles, said it took a lot of time and meticulous work to complete every detail and every moving part of said sports car classic.

There’s a lot to love about this wood-carved 300 SL replica, but what we love most is that the hood and trunk open, while the gullwing door functions like the model d. ‘origin. The doors even have latches to mimic the iconic Mercedes coupe doors.

The 300 SL’s sleek overall shape and sporty yet elegant design made the two-seater coupé pleasing to the eye. Only over a thousand units of the car were built, making it a rare breed. However, only a few of them currently exist in the world.
