Watch a bizarre moment Barcelona wonderkid Riqui Puig signs the fan’s PIG.. and he’s wearing a club kit

BARCELONA star Riqui Puig has been confronted by his near namesake…with a fan asking him to autograph his pet pig.

The Catalan giants are having a bad season by their own standards, trailing leaders and La Liga rivals Real Madrid by 15 points.

But midfielder Puig at least brought home the bacon for one devoted fan, who faced him as he left Barca’s training ground on Thursday.

The supporter pushed his pet pig out of the 22-year-old’s car window.

The animal was dressed in a Barcelona shirt and Puig obligingly signed the replica kit before driving off, presumably leaving the windows open.

Puig, a homegrown academy product, has made over 50 senior appearances for the Camp Nou side.

He has recently attracted interest from Wolves and Leeds United.

Puig played small roles in Barca’s La Liga triumph in 2019 and Copa del Rey success last year.

The youngster is close to his senior debut for Spain after winning four Under-21 caps.

His close encounter with the pig is the latest bizarre story involving footballers and animals.

West Ham’s Kurt Zouma has been at the center of a storm since The Sun exclusively revealed his cat-kicking shame earlier this week.

And Bayern Munich’s German striker Thomas Muller has come under fire from animal rights campaigners after a horse was injured at the stud farm he owns.

A cat also found its way onto the pitch in Sheffield on Wednesday midweek before being gently escorted away by Wigan defender Jason Curt.
