Van driver held at gunpoint over his Rolex watch


A man was held at gunpoint by two hooded thugs who stole his Rolex watch.

The man was preparing his work van on Willow Drive, Skelmesdale at around 1.45am on Friday November 12, ready for the following morning.

Whist was sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, two men in balaclavas approached him and pointed at what is believed to be a small handgun.

The couple fled towards Kiln Lane after stealing a Rolex watch from the victim.

DC Kieran Helps of Ormskirk CID said: ‘If you have seen what happened or know anything about this incident, please contact us.

“Also, if you have been offered a Rolex watch for sale like the one pictured, please let us know.”
