Rolex watch ripped off victim as she drove through Nottingham Park

A man had an expensive Rolex watch snatched from his wrist when it was stolen while walking.

At least two suspects are said to have approached the victim to ask him to hand over his phone and money.

After handing over his cash, the suspects spotted his Rolex watch on his arm and demanded that he hand it over to them.

The incident happened at around 9.45 p.m. as the victim was walking through Forest Recreation Ground on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

The victim was not injured during the robbery but remained in shock.

An investigation has now been opened to try to identify the suspects and reunite the watch with its owner.

Detective Sergeant Nick Wood of Nottinghamshire Police said: ‘This was a shocking incident which caused fear and shock to the victim after his watch was stolen.

“Theft can have a huge impact on victims as it means their property is confiscated by force and duress.

“We will always thoroughly investigate reports like this and our officers are still carrying out a number of investigations in the region.

“We are now appealing to anyone with information that could allow us to identify the suspects to come forward.”
