Jack Nicklaus’ gold Rolex watch goes up for auction Tuesday by Phillip Auction House in Manhattan, New York. Nicklaus joined CNBC’s “Squawk Box” to discuss the watch, which experts say could cost…breathe…more than $17.8 million.

Nicklaus said it was his first watch and the only one he’s worn for five decades. He took it down in 2017 because he wanted to auction it off to benefit children’s health. Jack and his wife Barbara have long raised funds to help with children’s health, from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital to the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.
