Inside Phillips Asia’s Upcoming Jewelry and Watch Sales – JCK

This month, Phillips Auction House will hold two online auctions: Hong Kong: Watches Online Auction I and Jewels: Online Auction. Consisting of 113 rare watches from manufacturers such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet and others, the watch sale runs from July 21-27. With 118 exceptional fine jewelry lots (from houses such as Cartier, Harry Winston, Chopard and Bulgari) ranging from $500 to $38,500, the jewelry sale runs from July 22-28. Below are some notable pieces and some additional information about the sale.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak perpetual calendar ref. Black ceramic wristwatch 26579CE, circa 2017, estimate $127,000–$250,000; Phillips

An Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in black ceramic leads the watch sale with an estimate of $127,000 to $250,000. A coveted style adored by celebrities such as Jay-Z, Kevin Hart and Ed Sheeran, this particular design is a 50-year-old style that was reintroduced in black ceramic five years ago.

A Lange Sohne watch
A. Lange & Söhne limited edition ref. 704.205 Lange 1 tourbillon wristwatch (also pictured top) in platinum, estimate $71,800-$144,000; Phillips

The limited edition Lange 1 tourbillon by A. Lange & Söhne is one of 150 platinum versions released in 2000 and is expected to cost between $71,800 and $144,000.

Rolex GMT-Master II
Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 116748SA in yellow gold, circa 2010, estimate between $41,000 and $61,500; Phillips

With a bezel adorned with baguette-cut blue sapphires, Rolex’s GMT-Master II is a particularly rare piece and has an estimate of $41,000 to $61,500.

Colombian emerald ring
Ring with a 2.39 ct. Colombian emerald, colored diamonds and diamonds, estimate between $38,500 and $65,000; Phillips

Headlining the jewelry sale, the oil-free Colombian emerald ring pictured above is further enhanced by colored and colorless diamonds. This coin could fetch up to $65,000.

Alexandre Laut ring
Ring by Alexander Laut ring with 86.22 ct. aquamarine and diamonds, estimate between $7,000 and $9,600; Phillips

Artist Alexander Laut is known for working with natural stones and having an impeccable eye for detail, which this exceptional ring certainly showcases.
